This September, InterContinental Taichung presents a curated art journey inspired by Taichung’s culture and everyday aesthetics. Begin at the hotel and stroll along the tree-lined Calligraphy Greenway towards CMP INSPIRATION, passing through a neighbourhood where architecture, nature and local culture come together before arriving at the limited-time “Museum Convenience Store Project.”
Presented under the theme “BOOM ART! Art Without Limits,” the exhibition brings together more than 60 works by 40 creative teams, transforming the familiar convenience store into an imaginative artistic setting. From enlarged everyday objects and an exercise routine composed from familiar convenience-store sounds to artists’ books documenting moments of daily life and a fantastical universe made of eggs, each creation invites visitors to rediscover the creativity and delight hidden within the everyday.
